Bradford Textiles Society Design Competition 2020 - First Prize and Commendation in the Responsible Design Category Awarded by The Association of Fashion and Textile Courses.

A textile or material sample which focuses on responsible design through either recycling, sustainable fibres, reconstruction, zero-waste techniques or design for the circular economy. 

Creative Conscience Award 2019 - Gold Award for Fashion and Textiles

Conscious Consumption Brief. Designing garments with integrated techniques to increase durability in areas that are more susceptible to wear damage. 

Santander University of Brighton Ideas Competition 2019 - Second Place

Pitched sustainable knitwear business idea to a group of Brighton industry professionals. Received a money award as well as  business advice from a range of industry professionals from across Brighton. 

The Worshipful Company of Framework Knitters 2019 - Byford Bursary 

Each year The Worshipful Company of Framework Knitters interviews some 50 students from 19 universities, awarding only 6 Bursaries. I was fortunate enough to be awarded a Bursary as a result of both the samples I presented and my general knowledge of knitwear. The examiners complimented me on my presentation and interpersonal skills demonstrated at the interview, along with both my current work and potential.
